DYNAMIC QR CODES

Dynamic QR codes for campaigns that change over time

A dynamic QR code keeps the printed matrix stable while its destination changes in your Mosaqo workspace. Update a URL, PDF or campaign page without replacing menus, posters, labels or packaging.

QUICK OVERVIEW

What this changes in practice

01

Stop reprinting when content changes

Menus, catalogues, event schedules and seasonal offers rarely stay fixed. A dynamic code points to a managed Mosaqo address, while the current destination remains under your control.

Update the redirect when a document expires or a landing page changes. Existing table cards, posters and packages continue to work.

  • No replacement print run
  • Controlled publishing state
  • A separate code for every placement

02

When a static code is enough

Use static mode for unchanging payloads such as Wi-Fi credentials or plain text. Choose dynamic mode for URLs, files and campaigns that need measurement, lifecycle control or future edits.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I change a QR code destination after printing?

Yes, when the QR code uses dynamic mode. The printed matrix points to a Mosaqo short address, while the final destination can be updated in your workspace.

What is the difference between a static and dynamic QR code?

A static QR code stores its payload directly in the matrix and cannot be edited. A dynamic code uses a managed redirect, which enables destination updates and scan analytics.
