Mosaqo Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Mosaqo handles, why it is needed and what stays entirely on your device. Effective July 27, 2026.
QUICK OVERVIEW
What this changes in practice
Account and workspace
Sign-in data, projects, assets and collaboration.
Scan analytics
Privacy-configured data for dynamic QR codes.
Chrome extension
Local generation and scanning on your device.
01
Scope
This policy covers the Mosaqo website, web and mobile apps, hosted QR experiences and Chrome extension. It does not cover third-party destinations opened from a QR code.
02
Information Mosaqo handles
Mosaqo may process sign-in identity, workspace content you save, support messages, security session data and essential operational logs. Dynamic scan events may include time, broad device category, referring context and approximate region according to workspace privacy settings.
03
Scan event data
A scan of a dynamic QR code is recorded with the device model and the operating-system version the browser reports, alongside the time, referring context and approximate location described above. The device model is shown only to a workspace owner or admin, and only while that workspace keeps it enabled in its analytics settings, where every field can be switched off. Scan events are deleted once the workspace retention period expires, 90 days by default.
04
Chrome extension data
The extension creates and scans QR codes on-device, uploads no screenshots or QR content to Mosaqo and runs no remotely hosted code. Drafts and optional history stay in chrome.storage.local.
05
Use, sharing and retention
Data is used to provide requested features, authentication, security, support, exports, redirects and configured analytics. Mosaqo does not sell personal data or use it for personalised advertising.
06
Your rights and contact
Request access, correction, deletion or export by emailing hello@mosaqo.app with the subject “Privacy request”. Mosaqo may verify control of the relevant account.
