Design a card around the code

The editor builds a card around your code — a background, text, stickers and a photo — as a 4:5 poster, a 1:1 post or a die-cut sticker. The code always keeps its quiet zone, and a design that would not scan is stopped before export or publishing.

Steps

1. In the editor, Design holds the tools: QR style, Card, Text, Stickers, Photo and Layers.
2. Style the code under QR style: ink colour, module and eye shapes, and a logo in the middle. Adding a logo raises error correction by itself.
3. Add text, stickers and a photo. Photos come from your checked brand assets.
4. Reorder, lock or hide layers under Layers. Nothing can cover the code’s quiet zone.
5. Press Export: SVG for signage and large print, PNG for screens, PDF for print.

How to check it worked

The contrast check shows no warning, and a scan of the exported file opens the destination.

What usually goes wrong

• Contrast below 3:1. Export and publishing are both blocked until it is fixed.
• Exporting a dynamic code before publishing it. Export waits for publishing, because the printed address has to answer.
• A photo that is still being checked. Only checked images can be placed.
