Where to keep the PDF a code opens
A PDF code points at a public https:// link to a file you host. Mosaqo does not upload or store the PDF, so the file has to live somewhere anyone can open without signing in.
Steps
- Put the PDF on your own website, or in a storage service with a public share link.
- Open that link in a private browser window. If it asks you to sign in, your customers will be asked too.
- Create a PDF code, paste the full link starting with https://, and give it a display name if you like — it becomes the card’s headline.
- Choose dynamic. When the file changes, upload the new one and point the code at its new address; the printed code keeps working.
How to check it worked
Scan the code on mobile data: the PDF opens without asking anybody to sign in.
What usually goes wrong
- A share link that needs an account, or one that expires.
- A static PDF code. Its address is printed into the pattern, so moving the file breaks every copy.
- A very large file that takes a long time to open on a phone.
