Templates, brand kit and assets
Managing logos, images and stickers
Assets are the logos, images and stickers a workspace reuses. Keeping them in the shared library rather than on individual laptops is what makes templates reproducible.
Steps
- Upload the master file rather than a screenshot of it.
- Name assets so someone else can find them in six months.
- Remove superseded versions, so nobody picks last year’s logo.
- Use the shared library in templates, so a replaced asset updates everywhere it is used.
How to check it worked
A colleague finds the right logo by searching the library, without asking anyone.
What usually goes wrong
- Several near-identical logos with no way to tell which is current.
- A low-resolution raster logo placed on print artwork.
- Assets kept locally, so templates break for everyone else.
