Change where a printed code goes
Open the dynamic code in your workspace, change its destination and publish the change. The printed matrix is untouched — it points at a managed Mosaqo address, and only what that address serves has changed.
Steps
- Find the code in your workspace and confirm it is dynamic and published.
- Edit the destination and save it.
- Publish. An unpublished edit changes nothing for anyone holding the printed code.
- Scan a printed copy — not the preview — to confirm the new destination is being served.
How to check it worked
Scan an already-printed copy on a phone that has not opened either destination recently, or open the short address in a private window. It should land on the new page.
What usually goes wrong
- Saving without publishing.
- Testing on a phone that has the old page cached.
- Editing a static code, which has no destination to edit.
