Show reviews on your own website
The widget shows a place’s published reviews on your site. Pick a layout, paste one line of code into your page, and it keeps itself up to date.
Steps
- Open the place and press Set up the widget under How people get here.
- Choose Card grid, Stacked list or Rating badge, a light or dark theme, how many reviews, and whether to show the rating summary and the dates.
- Press Copy the snippet and paste it into your site’s HTML where the reviews should appear.
- If your site builder strips scripts, open Site blocks external scripts? and use the iframe version instead. It cannot take on your site’s font.
How to check it worked
Open your page: the reviews appear in the layout you chose. With no published reviews yet the preview shows example cards, and your site shows none.
What usually goes wrong
- Switching the reviews page off. The widget shows the page’s reviews, so it goes empty too.
- Expecting hidden or private answers to show. Only reviews on the public page appear.
- Pasting the snippet into a text block that turns HTML into plain text.
