Your public reviews page and consent

Each place has one public reviews page, switched on when the place is created. A review goes on it the moment its author ticks the consent on the form; an answer without that tick can never be published. You can hide a review afterwards with a reason, and the page says how many are hidden.

Steps

1. Open the place under Reviews → Places. The Reviews page card has the address, the switch that turns the page off or on, and Edit how the page looks.
2. Keep the consent tick on the form. Without it an answer stays private for good — there is no way to publish it.
3. To take a review down, open it in Reviews → Inbox and choose Hide from the page… with a reason. Put back on the page reverses it.
4. Answer a review that is on the page with Reply publicly; the reply appears under it.
5. Share the page like any address: on a table card, a receipt footer or an email signature.

How to check it worked

Answer your own form with the consent ticked and open the page address. Your words are there within seconds, under the name you gave or as Anonymous.

What usually goes wrong

• Waiting for an approval step. There is none: consent publishes at once, and hiding is how you moderate.
• Expecting the page to filter by score. Every consented review appears unless you hide it.
• Switching the page off while the widget is on your site. The widget shows the page’s reviews, so it goes empty too.
